Planned Water Outage Saturday, May 15th

Dear Bridgeland Residents,

As a reminder, there is a planned outage on Saturday, May 15, 2021. The water will be off, planned for a 6-hour window between 9 am and 3 pm. We will restore service as soon as the upgrades are complete.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Harris County MUD #419, we are sharing the key determining factors behind the schedule for this planned water outage.

  1. The service outage heavily effects Harris County MUD 489, which provides water to schools in the community. This limits our scheduling window, as a planned outage cannot occur while students are in session.
  2. This project specifically involves hazardous electrical wiring. To protect the safety of our employees, the work is best performed during daylight hours.

Please reach out to Inframark’s Customer Service at (281) 579-4500, should you have any questions or concerns.

Bridgeland Planned Outages

Dear Harris County MUD #489 Resident,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Harris County MUD #489, we are reaching out in advance to make you aware there will be a scheduled water outage due to installation of a new generator at Water Plant #2 on Saturday, May 8, 2021. It is required that all power to the Plant be shut off while work is performed thereby interrupting our ability to provide water. The water will be off approximately 6 hours with service being restored as soon as possible.

An additional planned outage will take place on Saturday, May 15, 2021 as the Water Plant will be transferred from a temporary to permanent power source. The water will be off approximately 6 hours with service being restored as soon as possible.

Please reach out to Inframark’s Customer Service at (281) 579-4500, should you have any questions or concerns.

Automated Meter Reading

Eye On Water Customer Handout (PDF)

Dear Harris County MUD No. 489 Customer,

The Harris County MUD No. 489 Board of Directors have approved for your water meter to be changed out to an Automated Meter Reading (AMR) water meter.  The AMR system allows residents the tools to see their daily use and set up parameters for alerts. Leaks can be detected early on, as opposed to waiting for resident to receive their bill with high usage.

Beginning March 2021, Inframark will convert Harris County MUD No. 489 meters to the AMR devices. The project will take place over the next 9 months and is projected to be complete by November 2021. We thank you for your patience and hope you enjoy the benefits of the new AMR meter.
